Profile: Patrick and Susan Foote
NSORRA’s Representatives with the Nova Scotia Trails Federation
Susan and Patrick Foote are well known to NSORRA’s hare scramblers for their event participation and their wonderful race photography. They are also known as strong land stewards and trail advocates. It is their interest in trails that lead them to accept the volunteer position as NSORRA’s representatives on the NS Trails Federation.
Susan and Patrick introduce themselves
We enjoy nature and love getting out to explore new places and share experiences and destinations with others. Growing up on farms in the Annapolis Valley, we both have a deep commitment to land stewardship and trail development. We are avid enduro riders, hikers and all things outdoors. We regularly host group hikes, rides and adventures from our property year round, sharing the fun with like-minded friends.
We are keen trail builders and love knowing the history and stories of the land we develop and have the privilege to use. Current members of equestrian, running, hiking and enduro clubs, we feel shared trails can be safe and respectively enjoyed by all groups across our beautiful province.
We look forward to representing NSORRA at the table with the Nova Scotia Trails Federation.
This is the first blog in a new series about the volunteers who contribute to the growth and success of the Nova Scotia Off Road Riders Association.
