Do you identify as female and would love to try out dirt biking?
Do you ride, and want to meet, socialize and ride with some other amazing women and girls who ride?
Are you interested in trying Trials riding or would you like to gain some new skills on the MX track?
The NSORRA Women in Moto event hosted by Mill Hill in cooperation with Valley Yamaha-Suzuki is the perfect event for you!
Try it out with an Intro to Dirt Biking session
Have you ever wanted to learn to ride a dirt bike? We have certified coaches on hand to teach you the basics during this mini-course (not the certificate course). Registered participants are guaranteed 90 minutes of group instruction time with a suitable loaner bike from the NSORRA fleet as well as all safety gear required (if needed). Make sure you reserve your spot!
This is an excellent opportunity to try something new in a supportive environment dedicated to promoting all levels of women riding offroad motorcycles. We are so confident that you will enjoy your experience, that those registered participants who do the mini-course with our coach will have their WIM mini-course registration fee credited towards the full course if they choose to complete it during the 2022 season.
Intro to Trials
Trials mentors from across the province will be on site with a fleet of trials bikes to provide an opportunity for women to get a taste of trials riding. In the morning, basic skills sessions will provide riders with a chance to learn and refine skills that transfer to whatever bike they ride! The world of trials has much to offer and this is a great opportunity to learn more.
In the afternoon, intermediate riders will be given the opportunity to learn about the basics of trials, and apply their new skills to trials sections that will challenge what they know about line choices!
Again these sessions are first come first serve, so reserve your spot!
Motocross Skills Sessions with Alexandra (Alex) Josey
Riders have the opportunity to learn about the nitty gritty of motocross with retired national level rider, Alex Josey who also happens to be a NSORRA Dirt Bike School coach! There is no better way to get a taste of the discipline and start to develop skills on the track than by being supported by strong female mentors. Come together with some like-minded ladies to wade into the world of MX.
The Trails are Your Playground
The track and trails will be open for riding all day, except for during the scheduled MX Skills Sessions and lunch.
