Kick-off weekend is finally here for the 2022 Canadian Kawasaki Motors – NSORRA Hare Scramble Championship Series!

Full Season Ahead!

After two years of COVID restrictions, we are happy to open our race series to all of our members. We begin at one of our most popular locations – Craigmore Creek Ride Park in Cape Breton. This course has some unique challenges and this year will prove no different. New trail has been cut so the course will be new to everyone.

Camping with Friends

NSORRA invites all to come and camp for the weekend at no extra charge thanks to the generosity of our landowner, Vincent Van Zutphen. The races will be held on Saturday. After a night spent with friends, all are invited to ride the trails recreationally on Sunday.

Race Day Schedule

  • Please note that there is an error in the Craigmore Women A race registration page. The Women A race is 90 minutes, not 60 minutes.

Craigmore Event Sponsors

Canadian Kawasaki Motors returns as NSORRA’s hare scramble title sponsor. We are very fortunate to have them continue with us as they ensure the series championships can move forward.

Joining us in Cape Breton are two new sponsors: Cabot Powersports and the Sled Shed.

We couldn’t offer the events we do without great sponsors like these. Please support them when spending your dirt bike dollars.

Cabot Powersports

Locally owned and operated, Cabot Powersports is the area's leading motorsports store. There isn't a friendlier or more knowledgeable staff. They're happy to help you find either the perfect recreational vehicle or the parts you've been looking for. Check out their catalogs. If you need help in making your online selection, call them. They're always ready to help!

Cabot has donated lots of draw prizes for the Craigmore hare scramble. Make sure you pick up your ticket from the NSORRA booth!

The Sled Shed

The Sled Shed is a new storage unit concept for recreational sports in the Cape Breton Highlands region. Heated, air-conditioned, ventilated and secured, their garages will be strategically located along major trail systems with easy access to fuel stations and lots of parking. Spend less time and money transporting and maximize time spent riding. Included in your rental: access to your secured space; shared VIP lounge with kitchen space, shower and restrooms; 24/7 security with high definition cameras; wash bay; electric charges. For more information email info@sledshed.org
